Well, even before we move to Dubai, we have found a great place to eat, The Limetree Cafe which is rather famous for its cheesecakes, brownies and carrot cake. Limetree has two locations, a main one on Jumeria Beach Road and a second outlet at the Ibn Batutah mall. The cafe is open for breakfast and so closes around 7pm in the evening (the Ibn Batutah mall outled might be open later though) and has built quite a reputation of great food and huge service size. Interesingly, Limetree is owned by two sisters from New Zealand. From their serving size I thought it would be owned by an American!!
Jersey City: striking perfect balance
New Jersey often gets sidelined by its more famous neighbour New York, but the state has a lot to offer from beautiful surroundings, nature trails such as the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, each access to historical sites such as Ellis Island, great business opportunities and a thriving cultural scene. Jersey City is at the forefront of all this development and has already made a name for itself as being a great place to live, perfectly balancing hectic city life with wide open areas for recreation.
I am amazed at the change in New Jersey each time I visit. The state seems to be in a constant state of renewal, especially Jersey City, which is one of the nicest places to live, if you work in New York City but want to have a home in an open area. The transportation system is great with the PATH trains that take you directly to the heart of New York City. New Jersey is known for its multicultural residents and therefore has a great mix of cultural events from across the world as well as some superb places to try world cusine.
