The number of converts to working at home is increasing. At one time, working at home involved having your own business of some kind, but now there are an increasing number of opportunities where you can do a job from home and deal with none of the stress associated with traditional jobs. Customer service jobs are one of the new hot favorites where people can select the time slots they want to work and completely forget about the job, once they’re done with it.
There are an ever increasing number of workers who are worn out by trying to work crazy hours, wasting time commuting and paying higher amounts on gas than ever before. With the way communication means have changed, working from home is a viable option for many more workers than before. The number of home-based customer service agents has rapidly increased, with workers doubling from 2005 to 2010.
Just as long as you have a computer, broadbank connection and a telephone, you can set yourself up to work from home. Interestingly, the majority of the people who are doing this work are stay-at-home mothers, who would never consider doing such work at a call centre, but the flexibility of choosing their own schedule is very appealing.
