Ah, a new project to tackle on my time off: cooking. Ever since I started my last project, I have completely neglected cooking myself. We have a cook who comes in daily and I’ve not supplemented anything she has made like I usually do from time to time. So, now is going to be a great time to catch up on some cooking and replenishing my old recipe book with some new flavors. In fact, when I came upon a site called CookingSpot.com is when I realized that this time is going to literally fly by, in coming up with some great concoctions based on recipes from CookingSpot. Well, I’m taking a break from one of my projects and so will finally have some free time. The past few months have gotten just so hectic, that I have just been able to keep up and this will be a nice reprieve. I plan to continue working part time for the next few months for all my other projects and assignments, but since this was the one that took up most of my day, it will be nice to actually have some free time to relax, watch TV and read some books.

US consumers are increasingly shopping at online stores and purchases made online increased by 25% last year, pushed up mostly by a 61% increase in apparel sales. I studied at a midwestern university and a lot of people were very surprised at my choice, but for my program of study it was absolutely perfect. It’s barely the start of summer and it’s getting upbearable already. I wonder how we will deal with the heat and humidity which is only going to get worse day by day. People who have been living here for a long time, have somehow got used to the way the weather is, but we have not been able to deal very successfully with it. We usually end up escaping it by taking long trips, like last summer when we spent a month traveling and exploring the eastern Seabord from Virginia to Maine.
