The way that we live has changed how we perceive the world. Once it was considered perfectly all right to leave your front door open since it was so safe, but sadly, that’s not the case anymore. Home security has become a very important factor in our everyday decisions and looks like it will continue to do so for a while yet. HomeCamera is offering an innovative way to keep a check on your home, no matter where you are. All you need to do is to download the Windows webcam security software, create a HomeCamera user ID and password, give a name for the webcam and click on the connect button.

You can access your account from any web browser or PDA and click on the view button to access your webcam. Since the entire system is web based, you can access it from anywhere you are, making it one of the most simple and accessible home security systems. That’s really how easy it is to keep track of your home. And oh, did I mention it’s all free? Yes, you don’t have to pay anything at all to use the home camera technology.

HomeCamera uses a technology called WAP, which enables you to access it from your mobile phone, and even if you don’t have a video player on your phone, you will be able to see still photos. There is also no need to subscribe to any high speed broadband to access your webcam with this technology. With amazing features like sharing your webcam view with friends and family and automatically recording your pictures and videos to their server, HomeCamera is one of the most cohesive web access home security systems.

There are other systems out there that function on a similar platform, but I think HomeCamera is the simplest to install and access, making it one of the most user friendly home security softwares for the average consumer. While this review has been sponsored by HomeCamera, the company asked for a completely fair and impartial verdict, which I feel it has been possible to give, since the product benefits speak for themselves.

Being organized and having all your paperwork sorted out is something that is so essential. While going through my credit card receipts, I noticed that Budget Car Rental had made an additional charge without my permission, five days after I had paid them the full amount of our car rental. When I called them about it, they said they were toll charges which hadn’t been added earlier. I asked the manager there to fax over a copy of the dates and time of the toll charges and several of them look rather odd, and are an inflated amount for each time we crossed the toll gates. We weren’t too thrilled with the way Budget runs here and this was just the last straw. Thankfully, I still have all the paperwork regarding our payment, booking etc so I will be able to tally their charges against our dairy to see if we really did use the toll roads as many times as they said we did.
