I’d written a few days back about looking for jobs in Scotland, especially Edinburgh and while the job market there is growing, the need for people with all kinds of qualification in London is much greater. Gumtree, a nationwide source for information on jobs, housing, community, services and even dating and friendship, is fast becoming one of the best known sites to look to getting a foothold when you’re moving to a new city. If you’re keen to find jobs in England, especially jobs in London, then this is the site to go to, since it will give you the most comprehensive listing and is a good place to start your search.

The England job market is especially competitive, since it has traditionally attracted people from across the world, so finding a good job can be a tough task. In addition to just finding a job, pay scales are also very competitive, so one has to constantly be aware of what is the trend for salaries, so that one can get the best offer possible. The job scene in England is quite dynamic and so I looked up what Gumtree had to offer. Sure enough, there were lots of available jobs in London for a variety of fields such as IT/Consulting, Recruitment/HR, Health care, Sales and Marketing as well as the more creative ones, such as sports training, graphic and fashion designers etc. One gets a good general idea of London jobs and Gumtree makes it all quite simple and uncomplicated.

We ate burgers at Fuddruckers after absolutely ages and it was a great experience. Somehow, their stuff is really great, just the right combination of stuff. My only peeve with them is that they should offer a small size burger patty as well. They only have a half or third of a pound, which I find just too huge. I would much rather have a quarter pounder like most burgers are. Besides this point, I love the way they make their burgers and especially their buns, which don’t disintegrate like most other burger buns. So, all in all, it was a nice fun lunch today.

Having visited some of the world’s greatest cities, I find that few cities can match the energy and rush of New York City. While there are lots of other cities that are just as large and have a similar combination of financial and fashion centers along with a strong art, culture and restaurant scene, but nothing can quite be a match for the Big Apple. New York City hotels are a world apart, something that make the city completely different from all other cities. With hotels such as The Waldorf Astoria, The Plaza and The Westin, New York City hotels offer something more than just a place to stay.

As a regular traveler, I’ve tried out lots of travel sites for finding hotel accommodation, rental cars, flights etc, and Real Travel is a great place to take care of all the nitty gritty for a trip but also to get all the information you need about your destination. So, if you’re looking for a New York City hotel, not only will you be able to book a room through Real Travel, but you’ll also be able to get tips on which attractions to go to, where to eat etc from other travelers, so you can be sure of getting a real and valid opinion.

Well, took a slight break today to celebrate my mom-in-law’s birthday. We had decided to keep the celebration for the weekend, but then made an impromptu plan to go for a quick meal in the afternoon. It wasn’t really a quick meal since we decided to linger on and then head to Starbucks for some coffee and cocoa. We caught up on some errands and did some grocery shopping for the weekend and then headed back home. Surprisingly, we didn’t face much traffic and reached home rather quickly.
