Future Group and Global Hospitals tie up to set up health clinics
India’s largest retail chain, The Future Group announced that it would be launching a chain of health clinics, and will be forming a joint venture with Hyderabad based Global Hospitals for the project. Health clinics will be set up in malls and Big Bazaar outlets in the country. On the project, Kishore Biyani, CEO of the Future Group, says that “We are building a prototype for quick-service healthcare clinics with Global Hospitals which will treat common ailments. These clinics will come up in shopping malls and Big Bazaar outlets. The health care retail venture will be kicked-off shortly.” While a brand name for the clinics is not yet known, they will offer a range of services such as diagnostics, consultation, have skin therapy centers and pharmacies.
