The weekend is here and this time, I’m not sure if I will have finished all my work. So, it looks like a working weekend for me this time. The past couple of weekends have been quite relaxing, and since I don’t usually take every weekend off work, it was an unusual run. As a freelance writer, one doesn’t always get to take time off when everyone else does. I am usually working on most holidays like Thanksgiving and this time even on Christmas, just because there was so much work to be done. If you want your regulated holidays then freelance work is not for you. I don’t mind working on weekends every once in a while, as I am able to take long chunks of time off for vacations. I took a month off in October and then was mostly an a break in July and August as well, as we were moving home. So it all balances out quite well, at least in my book!
