The world around us

These days, getting insurance for one’s car has become such a simplified process. I remember the time when I got my first car and had to really hunt around to get some decent auto insurance that would take care of all the basics but not be too expensive. I eventually found a reliable company who had a few frills as well besides just the basics, which was really nice, as my car needed help every once in a while. The entire system has changed now and it has become quite straightforward to get car insurance, and most dealerships have insurance people at the showroom itself so there is no need to go hunting for them anymore. A lot of dealers used to have them earlier as well, but they were generally too expensive for most college students.

Since I wrote about my desk, I thought I would put up a photograph of what’s on my desk. It’s only a partial view, since I didn’t want to display my entire workspace. It just feels to private to display it here as yet. Maybe a little later, I will be able to do it. Anyway, I love my work alcove as it has an entire wall of windows to one side, a ledge to my side and a bookshelf behind me, giving me not only lots of space, but creating a wonderful atmosphere around me.
