The world around us

Life has become so much simpler now, especially since you can do almost everything on the Internet, whether it is search for some online auto insurance quotes or find a car. For some this has made things simpler, while for others it has made it more complicated, since it means that you have to keep up with the technology that keeps changing to be able to find this information. I try to keep up with most things technology related, but on the whole I am quite satisfied with the way the Internet has changed our lives. For those who are behind the curve, it might be harder, but the usefulness of the internet means that most people do eventually learn enough to find information themselves.

Been getting a lot of work done on my computer, basically getting it souped up for the next year or so. The last time I gave it for servicing, I really didn’t have enough time to get all its little kinks sorted out, but this time it looks like everything is going to be fixed. All it needs is a new battery, which has been ordered and should be arriving anytime now. I’ve also got some extras added to it, to take care of future upgrades and so on. The life of a laptop is getting shorter year by year, but IBM laptops or rather Lenovo laptops are really good and offer great value for money.
