I’ve always been a big fan of all kinds of jewelry, real, costume, antique, priceless and even funky stuff off the street. I find it a wonderful thing to collect and with the trend towards designer jewelry, some of the stuff I have has turned out to be a pretty good investment of sorts. I don’t consider myself ready until I have put on my earrings, a necklace, some bracelets and so on. Even if I go on a back to basics holiday, i have to have a couple of things that I can carry with me to make me feel feminine and nice. It’s just the simple things that make us feel special after all, and for me it is my collection of everyday jewelry.

Travel 11:34 am

A photo that I took recently and really liked. This was taken at a park nearby, a park that I have been going to as a child and have lots of memories associated with. I especially like the way all the different frames and angles look, against the blue sky, and against the trees. This is typical Chandigarh style public art and architecture, but since this is located in a quiet park, it has not been defaced or ruined.

Enjoy!

Business, Marketing 11:28 am

The field of market research is a great place to be these days. With a variety of companies looking to enter the market, there is unlimited potential for market research these days. I have seen the increase in demand in this kind of work in the past few years itself that I have been in the field. As companies expand overseas and to new markets, there is a substantial amount of research and review that is required and all companies and individuals who do this kind of work are in great demand. I would recommend going in for a company that has all the necessary credentials and has done similar work in the past as that is a good way of judging how well they will work for you.

Retail 11:23 am

Retail has seen some very fast paces changes in the developing world, that is finally making western companies see just how lucrative the market is. With a large part of the population having no access to stores of these kinds, there is an unimaginable potential yet to be tapped, and it is all a question of which company it will be to do it. Indian companies such as Reliance Fresh have fared extremely poorly so far, with their stores being badly stocked, staff rude and lacking even the most basic of manners. How can a store that shuts off its air conditioning to save money be concerned about its customers. The stores usually only display stale and rotting vegetables and fruit and only if you insist they assure you that they have fresher produce in the back, but they want to get rid of the older stuff first before displaying the fresh produce. The way it is going, there is sure to be a total overhaul in the works soon.
